The unexpected finding on Cockburn Street, Edinburgh... A nice uncle, discounted plums and halal snacks :D

I wish I could take and post the picture of that nice uncle in this small grocery shop but I guess that would have been a breech of privacy. So a picture of the shop will have to suffice.

Here I write stories from my traveling, share some joy that I found through it, and I hope can help my fellow travelers in any way. Being a Muslim and a lady can make it tough sometimes to travel in certain parts of the world, but I don't think that should deter any of us from doing so. In fact, how else would you learn things that you would never realize that you are capable of or what options and amazing things are out there waiting to be discovered? Travel is also about learning about yourself, how you view the world and how you are associated with the world. It's a self - discovery method, and honestly sometimes I find myself gaining new insights during my traveling. And don't forget, traveling is when you get to see the Creator's work of wonders and realized that, wow, you are so lucky to be able to do so.
